Marketing Operations Officer - Corporate Office Cape Town at The Building Company

Description:

• Campaigns to be delivered on time, within budget and in line with the marketing and business strategy
• Promotions are run on a monthly or bi-monthly basis as agreed in line with the advertising strategy that was agreed by Marketing, Operations and Procurement.
• To assist regions and stores with the development of planned and ad hoc marketing activities as and when required.
• Plan, scope and implement store specific activities and events.
• Roll out of store opening/relocation and closure plans.
• Provide support for marketing events & exhibitions
• Manage service providers in line with operational objectives
• Implementation of key touch points for national, regional and store requests
• Assist stores to utilise the online platform for store advertising and customer promotional needs.
• Monthly reporting on budget and activities
• Ability to work with the Marketing team, Ops, Merchandise and regional marketing representatives to provide input in all marketing and customer-related needs.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma certificate in marketing, commerce or related fields.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of current digital trends and innovations
• Valid driver’s licence
• Local and National travel required from time to time
