Marketing Coordinator (Transpharm) at Shoprite Group of Companies

Purpose of the Job    

The purpose of the job is to work closely with the Marketing Team in coordinating projects, to sustain as well as grow customers through the creation and communication of superior value.

Job Objectives    

• Scheduling of advertising and billing of suppliers
• Ensure deadline of print & digital advertisements are met
• Client Communication
• Collect and combine info on projects and report on results
• Compilation on monthly adviertising
• Construct proposals as requested
• Coordinate advertising with suppliers internal and external
• Distribute promotions and marketing material
• General administrative functions as requested
• Invoice and contract updates and tracking
• Keeping all external payments updated
• Loading promotions and prices on all advertisements
• OOS and SOH report on marketing activities
• Create creative content

Qualifications    

Essential:

• Degree/Diploma in Marketing or Public Relations

Experience    

Desirable:

• Public relations experience
• FMCG/Retail experience

Knowledge and Skills    

Essential:

• Social Media (Blogging, Facebook, Twitter)
• Marketing principles and practices
• Customer Services principles Desirable
• Search Engine Optimisation
