Marketer - Kirkwood at OVK - Group

Minimum Requirements:        

• Grade 12;
• Agricultural/Marketing degree or diploma will be an advantage;
• 4 – 5 years previous experience in the Agricultural Marketing environment;
• Valid drivers license.

Skills:

• Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
• Computer literate (MS Office);
• Thorough knowledge of agricultural products (incl fertilizer, seed, fuel)
• Strong sales & marketing skills;
• Excellent influencing/negotiation skills;
• Excellent ability to build relationships with customers as well as suppliers;
• Business insight;
• Strategic and innovative thinking;
• Entrepreneurial skills;
• Customer liaison skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop marketing strategy to generate new business;
• Achieve financial targets;
• Marketing of agricultural products;
• Manage and control administration;
• Promote the building and maintenance of customer relationships.
