Manufact Ops - Durban at Engen

What you'll have done before:

Baseline:

• NQF Level 4 (Matric/Grade 12)
• Forklift Driving License
• 2 Years’ experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment;
• Experience in Operations and Administration.

Advantageous:

• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment;
• Numerical ability.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles or production machinery such as trucks or turntables
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
• Check that all loads are secure and safe for moving;
• Stacking empty pallets;
• Examine products on delivery to ensure conformance to quality standards.
• Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the trucks’ battery and lubricating equipment;
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.
• Ensure compliance to all HSEQ regulation, standards and policies;
• Ensure compliance and governance to audit requirements;
• Ensure compliance to driving standards and regulations;Complete all relevant documentation as per production schedule and transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
