JOB DESCRIPTION

• To execute against the Control Assurance Framework through automated reviews, as it pertains to combined assurance, exchange control, BOP  reporting and cross border processing requirements, to ensure that business is undertaken in a compliant manner to avoid operational losses, fines, penalties, or reputational damage to the organisation and enables the competitive advantage of the organisation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BCom degree
• SQL, Data mining/analysis, Python 

Other Preferred Qualifications, certifications or professional memberships

• Exchange Control, ACI, AML and Sanction Screening related courses; 
• Certifications for Trade & Guarantees (Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists OR Certificate in International Trade & Finance OR Certificate for Specialists in Demand Guarantees);

Advantageous:  

• ISO or Lean 6 Sigma (Green Belt) certification;
• NFR Framework;
• Situational Leadership Program complete

Experience

• Technical skills for automation and knowledge for Foreign exchange / exchange control and purpose description. 
• Seasoned SQL, Python, GINA, Excel and PowerBI, banking system dependencies and linkages.
• Internal and external audit functions, understanding of daily P&L reporting to traders. 
• Proven track record at junior/middle management level.
• Operations business lines knowledge / experience – understanding of business line products (GMO/IPSS/TPSO).
• Managing a small team / project management.
• Product BRCC (Business Risk Control Committee) / MANCOs.
