JOB DESCRIPTION

• Implementing and maintaining the production framework for the intelligence engines and processes and ensuring their smooth and failproof runs on a 24/7 always-on and always-secure basis, achieving 98% up and running time. Executing the production environments and supporting governance, including operational workflows. Implementing and adhering to the required stand-by and call-out regimes to ensure constant monitoring of the production jobs and processes. Implementing the required co-operation and monitoring regime with the RCOPS command centre and console operators. Scheduling and monitoring the production processes in the bank’s formal environments (e.g. mainframe and open systems), and ensuring immediate fixing (where applicable) and rerunning of job failures and abends.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Formal minimum and preferred qualification: Honours Degree in IT and Computer Sciences
• Other qualifications, certifications or professional memberships: Some data-driven insights and analytics awareness/knowledge
• 5 - 7 years experience of the bank’s IT production and operational environments, data content and structures, system development rules and standards, data engineering and domain knowledge.
• 3 - 4 years experience exposure to IT operationalisation and production; Proficiency in the code, software and IT process operalisation, SDLC, combined with some knowledge in the insights and analytics principles and value creation.
