Job Advert Summary    

Clover is looking for an experience Café Manager to ensure effective management of the Clover Café, Clover Shop, Rations Store, Call Centre and Tuck Shops at Clover Head Office in Roodepoort. 

Requirements    

• Grade 12 or Equivalent NQF 4
• Business English 
• Computer Literacy
• Experience withing with Senior Management 
• Valid drivers license

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Manage Clover Café,  Rations Store, Clover Shop, Call Centre and Tuckshops         
• Supply refreshments, kitchen services and menu meals
• Order and manage stock
• Oversee Clover functions
• Conduct administrative duties and controls
• Reconcile financial transactions and report to Finance
• Maintain high hygiene standards           
• Supervise staff to ensure that hygiene standards are applied
• Coordinate the quarterly deep cleaning
• Ensure compliance to the annual Hygiene audit
• Schedule six weekly pest control

Manage the ordering and delivery of Clover products   

• Collect monthly electronic orders of HO staff
• Order the products from nearby branches
• Control and reconcile placed orders and deliveries
• Arrange collection of orders

Manage staff    

• Ensure that all Clover Café workers are properly trained, re-trained and adhere to standard operating procedure
• Ensure frequent and regular communication with customers at the Café
• Encourage team work and a positive work climate
• Implement leave policy and manage overtime
• Implement the disciplinary and grievance procedure where applicable
