    Manager: Area Sales - Inland Region - Limpopo

    Job Description

    A career opportunity has arisen in the Sales Department – Premier Inland Region   This position is responsible to drive sales and achieve revenue targets for the company's products in the Limpopo region, while managing a team of sales representatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets.
    • Manage the sales team and ensure that they achieve their targets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key accounts, and distributors in the region.
    • Conduct market research and gather insights on customer needs, trends, and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
    • Monitor and analyse sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, and supply chain to ensure alignment on business objectives and priorities.
    • Manage expenses within the budget and report on the financial performance of the region.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • A bachelor's degree in Sales

    Experience Requirements    

    • At least 5 years of experience in FMCG sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
    • Experience in managing sales teams and driving team performance.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Knowledge of the region, and experience working with retailers and wholesalers in this region will be an advantage.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Sales Management Software.

    Other Requirements:

    • Based in Gauteng region with the flexibility to travel frequently within the Limpopo region.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
    • Flexibility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
