Maintenance Supervisor at Engen

Purpose of the Job

To supervise maintenance personnel (including contractors) in the implementation of all maintenance activities to enable operations to meet production targets in a safe, responsible and cost-effective manner.

Who you are

• You 2 years' experience in a Supervisory role
• Experience in Inventory/ Asset Management
• Knowledge of HSEQ Standards and Compliance
• SAP knowledge and experience 

What you'll be doing

BUDGET ADMINISTRATION

• Annual input into Departmental CAPEX /OPEX business plan/budget  
• Cost Centre Management
• Track monthly cost center spend
• Generate monthly cost control report.
• Report on monthly variances

MAINTENANCE PLANNING & SCHEDULING

• Ensure adequate planning around Preventative Maintenance strategies.
• Approved maintenance schedule
• An audit indicates full compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Manage the SAP AM/PM systems

MAINTENANCE EXECUTION

• Reduced downtime and equipment failure.
• Lower maintenance costs (within budget)
• Scheduled plan met.
• Asset register up to date.                                                
• Ensure all Maintenance Statutory requirements are met

What you've done before

MINIMUM

• NQF Level 6 (Mechanical/ Instrument /Electrical)    
• 5 years’ experience in Plant Operations/Maintenance

ADVANTAGEOUS 

• FMCG  Operation 
• HSEQ certificate
