Job Description

• Create opportunities and synergies by analysing GWK/VKB/NTK logistical flows. Furthermore, to market the business and expand Non-GWK/VKB/NTK business.

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate and
• Candidates with a relevant diploma/ Degree in Logistics will enjoy preference
• Minimum 2 experience in a similar role
• Code 8 Driver's License
• Clear Criminal Record
• 5 years of experience in a logistics brokerage environment.
• 5 years of operational experience managing a fleet.
• 5 years in a logistics marketing role.
• Knowledge of the logistics flows of SA and neighboring countries.
• Knowledge of agricultural products and their transport.
• Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Management of external business department.
• Planning together with internal and external product owners and transporters.
• Proactively identify possible risks and ensure timely action to limit and/or prevent risks
• Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders
• Expansion of available transporters.
• Unlock synergy of internal and external transport flows.
• Marketing of the business's services.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Management of credit and other logistical risks within the business.
• Manage client services and deliver client services;
• Management of personnel.
• Ensure competitive products and services;
