Logistics Administrator (Diagno) - Centurion at Ampath

Purpose of Position:

• Ensure the efficient distribution of goods, including overseeing shipping procedures, managing the flow of orders, and communicating with logistics staff, including drivers, packers, and warehouse workers.

Requirements:

• Completed (or currently enrolled) Bachelor’s degree (or related qualification) in business administration or logistics or working towards  (Required)

Required Experience:

• 3 years or more industry/logistics experience in a similar position.,
• Excellent IT skills, including intermediate-level working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other related software applications,
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills,
• Exceptional knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems, Knowledge of Supply Chain Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and maintaining a Quality Management System,
• Coordinate supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery,
• Engage with clients to assist in maintaining customer satisfaction,
• Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers,
• Oversee the levels of our warehouse stock and place orders as needed,
• Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading),
• Provide information to customers about the status of their orders,
• Schedule shifts for drivers and warehouse staff, Track orders to ensure timely deliveries
