Location Planner Miladys - Durban at Mr Price Group

Purpose

 Are you ambitious, have high energy levels, a natural planner and an innovative and strategic thinker? Miladys, a trading division of the Mr Price Group is currently looking at hiring a Location Planner. A Location Planner’s main objective is to plan and execute a balanced store contribution plan in order to maximise sales and profit.                                                                                                                

Key responsibilities

• To understand and monitor current trade in order to initiate action to increase sales;
• To collaborate and build a strong relationship with the merchandise planner in order to provide a product assortment solution specific to each store and to capitalize on any store opportunities.
• Collaborate with allocators to ensure that the stock is allocated appropriately and out of stock situations are avoided;
• To analyze past seasons performance at a store level by department / category to determine a proposed strategy;
• Develop a pre-season plan in line with the department’s merchandise plan;
• Prepare a zero based plan in order to identify missed opportunities in stores;
• Support the merch and operations teams in ensuring all budgets are met.                                        

Requirements

1. Relevant degree
2. 3 years industry related experience
3. Fluent in Excel
