Library Assistants at Stellenbosch Municipality

REF: CP/CS/LS/08; CP/CS/LS/38; CP/CS/LS/39; CP/CS/LS/42; CP/CS/LS/44

Minimum Requirements: 

• Grade 12 or NQF level 4 with Minimum 1 year Public/School Library experience 
• Computer literacy in MS Office applications including Excel and Outlook. 
• A valid driver’s license.

• Good Interpersonal skills 
• Excellent 
• communication skills: verbal and written 
•  Good administrative skills 
• Ability to manage digital and physical collections 
• Customer service. 
•  Good general knowledge
•  Ability to work under pressure 

Responsibilities/Duties: 

• Library support function
•  Assistance with library programme
•  Assist public with community information and general enquiries

Added advantage:

• Library Science Certificate/Diploma 
• Ability to work on SLIMS library software 
•  ECD Certificate/Diploma
