LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER (CA Stream)

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Lecturing at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level;
Supervision of postgraduate students;
Scientific research and publication in the field of Financial Management;
Liaising with students, parents and other stakeholders; and
Management of academic departmental events and supervision of tutors.
Minimum Requirements

Lecturer:
CA(SA) qualification;
Practical industry experience.
Senior Lecturer
CA(SA) qualification AND a Master’s degree in Finance;
Experience in independent research and/or involvement in research activities in Finance;
Practical industry experience.
Required Competencies (sklills, Knowledge And Behaviour)
Appropriate interpersonal, language and communication skills;
Experience of independent research and/or involvement in research activities;
Computer literacy;
Appropriate language and communication skills.
Added Advantages And Preferences
The completion or near completion of a PhD in Finance;
Involvement in published academic research outputs;
Involvement in professional activities.
