The IIE Varsity College, Cape Town campus has a Data Analytic vacancy for a Lecturer (Independent Contractor) for the 2023 academic year.

• Software Engineering
• Network Engineering
• Data Science
• Data Analytics

• Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Ideal:
  A Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science/ Information Systems/ Information Technology.

Alternatively:

• An Honours or Master’s degree or higher in similarly related fields with programming.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Lecturing experience in programming
• Work experience as a software developer/ application developer/ programmer
• Relevant Industry experience in your programme of specialty essential.
• Lecturing or teaching experience within a Tertiary environment is preferable.

Working Conditions:

• Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role.
• The position is part-time, with face-to-face lectures taking place between 18:00 and 21:00
• Must reside in Cape Town.
