Lecturer :Mechanical Engineering (JB3785) at Educor Holdings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in Engineering Drawing would be advantageous
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching/lecturing experience
• Previous experience delivering lectures both on-campus and online, preferably with hybrid (semi-remote/online) students

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lectures in Mechanical Engineering for NATED Mechanical Engineering courses
• Teach subjects related to Industrial Orientation (N1-N3), Plant Operation Theory (N1-N4), Engineering Science (N1-N4), Mathematics (N1-N6),  Chemistry (N4-N5), Chemical Plant Operation (N4-N6), Chemical Technology (N6) and Power Machines (N5-N6)
• Perform administrative tasks associated with courses and attend departmental meetings as required
• Develop and enhance academic content, including conducting research and creating new topics and teaching materials, including online resources
• Participate in examination certification and promotion processes for learners
• Conduct face-to-face lectures and facilitate contact sessions with distance learners
• Maintain accurate student records and proactively monitor academic progress
• Assist with general academic administration tasks
• Provide student support during contact sessions with distance learners
