    Learning & Development Specialist: Retail Affluent: Human Capital

    What will make you successful in this role?

    Outputs/Core Tasks:

    • Interpreting and implementing of Skills Development strategies and programs, which proactively addresses and responds to organisational learning and development strategies / forums, and brings key stakeholders together to assess performance gaps and learning solutions.
    • Implement appropriate interventions, including strategic planning, tactical and project planning and enablement of performance support solutions (resources, solution design, development as well as facilitation).
    • Guide training methodologies e.g. blended learning that account for multiple learning styles, such as formal (classroom, virtual led) and informal learning, as well as move towards just time, real time, micro learning solutions e.g. eLearning.
    • Custodian of eLearning content in myWorkSpace Learning Management System (LMS) to reflect our most current offerings within a blended learning context.
    • Collaborate cross functionally and strategically with key stakeholders and SME’s to support digital platform activities, including reports, updates, and data visualisation
    • Research and development as well as facilitation of training methodologies also recommend solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of learning programmes, to grow employee’s skills and knowledge, in line with the organisations people development strategy and digital transformational strategic objectives.
    • Liaise with external vendor(s)/Skills Development providers and assist in the design, development and implementation of transitional digital transformation within the learning and development space.
    • Co-ordinate required Skills Development legislative and compliance adherence relating to people development and compliance reporting.
    • Co-ordinate delivery of reports/dashboards on the status of training completion, operational metrics and digital platforms (data for analysis thereof).
    • Give input to e-learning design and deliverables – Learning Journeys and Curriculums. 

    Role Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources with the focus on Skills Development.
    • Higher Certificate in Occupational Directed Education as Training Practitioner (NQF L5).

    Experience:

    • At least 5-6 years’ in a similar capacity within the Financial Services Industry.
    • Experience of strategic analysis and scoping skills.
    • Experience of design and developing learning material based on learning needs analysis.
    • Experience of research and benchmarking to develop and assess facilitators.
    • Experience of research application methodologies.
    • Experience of project and resource management.
    • Experience of digital platforms to enhance learning

    Knowledge: 

    • Knowledge of Skills Development and compliance legislation, including Seta ATR/WSP requirements.
    • Knowledge of Financial Sector Charter Skills Development with reference to FSC BBBEE score card.
    • Knowledge of HR Learning and Development systems or tools supporting Learning and Development technology.
