Lead Analyst: Credit Pricing at Capitec Bank

Main Purpose

• You will Lead a dynamic team to develop and optimize pricing models for our credit products and channels. Drive fair and appropriate client prices while maximizing the bank’s return on equity. Enhance existing models, develop new ones, and customize them for innovative credit products. This is a very unique opportunity as you will have exposure to all the Credit products. As we are still growing the bank, you will be able to significantly influence the way we price for our clients.

As a Lead Analyst: Credit Pricing your primary responsibilities will include:

• · People and operational management for the Analyst team
• · Modelling related responsibilities
• · Strategic and tactical insights

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5 years’ experience in analytical roles that include exposure to credit pricing, provisioning and/or other related credit analytics.
• Proven experience in building credit pricing and/or cash flow forecasting models from first principles.
• Experience in a leadership role that includes managing a team of analysts.
• Post graduate degree in Mathematical Sciences such as (Statistics, Financial / Quantitative Risk Management or Actuarial Science.
