Khula Operational Co-Ordinator - Chloorkop at AECI Limited

Job Description    

3rd Party Suppliers:

• Ensure signed MOU and SOP in place with each supplier.
• Build and improve supplier relationships.
• Bi-weekly communicate to update prices and stock availability.
• Explore and implement joint marketing opportunities.
• Improve delivery timelines.

Order Process Flow:

• Manage and maintain the transparent Khula order platform.
• Provide daily feedback to Khula/Farmers on orders.
• Ensure 80% of deliveries are done within 7 days.
• Manage each process from purchase order to delivery.
• Improve and find better ways to shorten delivery time.
• Communicate with and involve the AECI Plant Health Crop and Technical Advisors in Khula projects.
• Manage and maintain the Khula kiosk.
• Manage the orders and deliveries on contract growing farmers and organised buying groups.

Marketing:

• Plan Farmers’ days and town hall meetings.
• Liaise with Crop Advisors/Regional Sales Managers on Crop Advisor meetings and activities in each area.
• Schedule monthly meetings with the Khula Marketing Team.

Training:

• Train Depot personnel and AECI Plant Health Sales Administrators as well as 3rd party suppliers.

Customer Complaints:

• Assist the Khula and AECI Plant Health team with any product complaints or claims in order to obtain an understanding of what went wrong.
• Involve the 3rd party suppliers on any complaints.

Qualifications & Experience    

• Minimum education Grade 12 with post matric tertiary qualification of a Diploma in Business Logistics or Business Administration or related qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ post-graduate experience in the Agricultural Industry.
• Technical and agrochemical knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
• Knowledge of DOT.NET advantageous.
• Sound working knowledge of Safety, Health and Environmental practices essential.
• Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license, have own reliable transport and must be medically fit to drive.
• Must be able to travel.
• Ability to work independently
• Must be safety orientated
• Must be fluent in both English and Afrikaans due to the nature of the company’s customer base.
