Junior Technical Sales and Engineering Design at Network Recruitment

Looking for graduates in the Durban area to take on a techical sales and engineering design position. Our client is willing to take on a qualified engineer with no experience but the person needs to have bachelor degree.

• This person will drive technical support, electrical design and sale in Durban's power supply market, alternative energy, backup energy supplu and telecom power marketplace.
• This is a mainly an inside technical position with occasionally going to sites for commissioning or evaluation purposes where you will develop the design, draft the electrical drawings and sell your solution through sales lead interaction, phone calls, research and networking, with the goal of generating solid solutions for potential new and existing clients.
• You will require to go through a steep 6 month learning curve internally to learn the different technical products lines as well as the tools to designs off-grid, hybrid and grid-tie systems.
• Once you have found your feet in this field you will be required to learn our range of UPS products lines as well as the Telecom Power products and standard power supply product lines.

Education and Experience:

• BSc or BEng or Btech in Electronic engineering or Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronic
• This person must be a hunter, a natural entrepreneur, out of the box thinker
• Superb communication skills

Time to time site travel - own vehicle is required
