Junior Production Planner at FlySafair

Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair, has a vacancy for a Junior Production Planner at our head office in Bonaero Park.   The successful applicant will report to the Manager: Line Station & SVM.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities of the position include but is not limited to:

• Check planning on A-Check and Line Maintenance;
• Ensure that work packs are correct;
• Ensure that man hours are correct on work packs (estimates and actuals); and perform calculation of Manpower Required;
• Ensure that scheduled spares and tools for checks are correct and available on time;
• Provide daily detailed information on checks progress;
• Parts orders and follow up;
• Work in hand with seniors – perform other related duties as may be assigned by his/her superior

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent;
• Aircraft trade will be an advantage; 
• Must have 3 years’ experience in aircraft production planning or maintenance environment;  
• Must be able to administrate finances of a check;
• Must be willing to travel at short notice and extended period;
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
