Intern: Academic Staff and Leadership Development (40 hours per week)(contract appointment: 1 year): Blended Learning Innovation and Support Services at University of the Free State

Duties and responsibilities:

•    Provide administrative and logistical support in the planning, preparation and implementation of events in the Academic Staff and Leadership Development team(ASLD).
•    Assist in the collection and capturing of academic staff attendance data.
•    Assist in the evaluation of academic staff and leadership development initiatives.
•    Provide general research support towards best practices in academic staff and academic leadership development.
•    Update and maintain information on different academic staff and leadership development Blackboard organisations.
•    Provide general administrative support within the Academic staff and leadership development team.

Inherent Job Requirements:

•    B-degree on NQF level 7 in Industrial Psychology/Psychology/Education.

Recommendations:

•    Postgraduate qualification in Industrial Psychology/Psychology/Education with a specific focus on Training and Development.
•    Experience with a Learning Management System (e.g. Blackboard)
•    Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.

The following criteria apply to the selection of potential applicants:

• The applicant should not currently be participating in an existing learnership/internship programme.
• The applicant must be willing to sign a learnership/internship agreement with UFS.
• The applicant must be available for the period of 1 year to participate in the learnership/internship.
•    The applicant must have no formal work experience.
