How You’ll Contribute

• Utilises excellent analytical and problem solving skills to assist customers to identify their critical business issues and to demonstrate how TransUnion’s solutions will help to address these issues.
• Good communication skills in order to engage credibly with Clients’ technical experts. Must be able to communicate and present solutions and complex modelling concepts clearly and simply verbally and in writing.
• Provides the insurance insights and expertise to communicate to clients the clear financial value of the solutions proposed. ROI, ROE, EV and NPV.
• Provides leadership around business intelligence in the insurance space at TransUnion.
• Assesses post implementation metrics on the success of projects to improve solutions and support Use Cases and White Papers.
• Assures compliance with regulatory and privacy requirements
• Assisting in the analysis of the rich insurance data assets hosted by TU to leverage more cross functional value.
• Working closely with the Insurance Product Subject Matter Expert and global insurance product team to drive innovation and the development and execution of new product.
• Enhances market perception of TransUnion as a Solutions provider, market leader and thought leader.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Impact You'll Make

• Graduate-level degree with concentration in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, actuarial science, computer science or mathematics economics
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, listening and teamwork skills, and effective presentation skills. This is absolutely essential since you will have a lot of exposure to different internal groups (data, IT, product and sales) as well as third-party partners and customers (insurance companies).
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience preferably including consulting to the insurance industry or working in an actuarial or data science team in an insurer.
• Aptitude for performing multiple tasks in a dynamic business environment and dealing with changing deadline requirements. This includes knowing when to escalate issues. Maintains a focused, flexible, organized, and proactive manner.
• Strong problem solving skills
• Proven experience in developing and implementing solutions.
• Must be well organized with excellent analytical and negotiating skills, combined with superior oral and written communication skills, with a temperament to aggressively represent and persuade others and assure clients of the quality of TransUnion solutions.
