Instrument Engineer at MECS (Pty) Ltd

Responsibilities:

• Design all instrumentation on assigned projects and prepare project-related standards and job notes.
• Prepare and update requisition indexes, drawing indexes, and general notes requisitions for instrumentation.
• Review and ensure correctness of flowsheets and quality of instrumentation drawings; assist in their preparation and review.
• Develop control/safety system requirements and philosophies; prepare technical bid analyses, and attend system FAT/SATs and coordination meetings.
• Provide guidance and review supplier documents, advise on slippages and technical problems, and assist with progress reports, construction follow-up, and commissioning issues.

Qualification:

• BSc, BEng  or BTech/N Dip with equivalent experience in design (instrumentation) and projects.
• In-Tools 6.0 or Higher
• 3 Years minimum experience
