    Independent Software Vendor

    This role is responsible for the recruitment, enablement and development of ISV partners that create applications servicing our targeted customers in a variety of different verticals and sub-verticals. In addition, this person will drive the sales awareness strategy for these verticals and ensure the sales teams have the right partner portfolio to effectively sell into their assigned verticals. The success of the role will be measured on a combination of influence revenue, number of influence registrations, and marketing activities.

    Key Responsibilities Key Accountabilities

    • Ensure a diverse range of new ISV partners are recruited, focussing on product mix and client demographics
    • Understand our competitive landscape, market trends and products to ensure that we recruit best in class partners
    • Develop a first class on-boarding program for our partners to ensure that they are true advocates of our brand and represent a true partnership.
    • Work with all teams to design and deliver an enablement blueprint that will drive continuous improvement and growth within the business partner division
    • Promote the Sage ISV partner value proposition internally and externally in accordance with the Sage partner program.
    • Focus on ISV Partner success. Maximize ISV partner value with the sales teams and nurture the ISV/Sage relationship. Enable ISV partner growth, readiness and capability. Position the partner appropriately to sales teams and Sage business partners.
    • Challenge our current thinking and design and implement innovative solutions for sourcing and promoting the Sage ISV community.
    • Meet agreed revenue targets, accurate forecasting and trend analysis reporting. Skills, know-how and experience:

    Must Have

    • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills
    • Excellent organization, problem solving and planning skills
    • Ability to energize and lead ISV partner prospects
    • Skilful in negotiating, conflict resolution, and problem resolution
    • Experience working with software partners
    • 5 years experience within the software industry

    Preferred

    • Working knowledge of channel delivery business models
    • Good understanding of accounting and business management software

    Technical / Professional Qualifications

    • Bachelors or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
