    Human Resources Operations Manager - Johannesburg

    Mininum qualification:

    • Relevant honours degree
    • A Master’s degree and/or professional registration will be preferable

    Minimum experience: 

    • At least five to ten years’ experience in Human Resources.
    • Must have headed up a Centre of Excellence or managed a centralised function with at least two years in a managerial role. 
    • Exposure to other roles such as HR Operations or HRBP will be advantageous

    Duties and Responsibilities

    As the Human Resouce Operations Manager, you will be responcible for the following:

    • Execution of HR compliance and administrative processes and technologies (HR calendar related) 
    • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures 
    • Maintain HR system 
    • HR metrics and HR reporting (including regulatory reporting such as EE and skills development)
    • HR projects 
    • Administrative operationalisation of HR practices processes and administrative employee end-to-end life cycle processes 
    • Recruitment and selection
    • Performance management 
    • Employee relations
    • Compensation and benefits – salary structures, bonus programmes, health, annual increase processes, annual benchmarking processes, benefit administration 
    • Employee wellbeing 
    • Management
    • Leadership
    • Internal and external stakeholder engagement and management / collaboration 

    Functional Competencies:

    • Thorough understanding of HR best practices and employment laws and regulations
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR policies, processes and procedures incl. end to end process mapping know-how
    • Ability to analyse HR metrics and provide insights and recommendations
    • Depth of knowledge regarding HR systems, relevant technology tools and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Good understanding of remuneration and employee benefits
