What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

• As the HSE Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing health, safety, and environmental standards across multiple sites. You’ll coordinate HSE functions among various project teams, contractors, and consultants, ensuring compliance with HSE specifications and quality policies. Your role will involve conducting regular site inspections, monitoring construction activities, and leading HSE audits. What you’ll need

• To excel in this role, you must be registered with a statutory body (such as SACPCMP) as an HSE Manager, have qualifications in first aid, firefighting, HIRA, and legal liability. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in HSE management within power generation or renewable energy projects is essential. You should have a valid driver’s license and a thorough understanding of OHS Act regulations and labour laws. Strong analytical thinking, excellent report writing skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required. Additionally, you should be medically fit and willing to be site-based for the duration of the project.
