    Home Loans Sales Consultant

    Job Purpose

    • Promote products and services offered by Nedbank to prospective Home Loan clients through marketing and engagement opportunities.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain relationships with external companies (Estate Agents, Property Developers, etc.) to ensure client service and future sales opportunities
    • To conduct research in the market and identify opportunities to acquire new business to market and sell Nedbank Home Loan Products to tap the newly identified and potential clients seeking home loans.
    • Provide detailed information about the bank's products and services to the clients and to guide them on the most suited financial option that will meet their requirements
    • Fulfilling client sales and services by conducting needs analysis and providing great client experience.
    • Ensure that the client understood all the terms and conditions involved while applying for a home loan.
    • Maintains professional and healthy relationship and actively engage with Home Loans clients
    • Ensure that a thorough verification of the obtained financial data is done and captured to determine the creditability of the applicant.
    • Review action plans and take corrective action to deliver agreed sales and service results.
    • Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy.
    • Utilize resources to manage risk according to Nedbank policies and procedures

    Minimum Experience Level

    • 3 years' Relationship management experience in the financial sector
    • 2-3 years’ Sales experience with a proven track record in a pressurised sales environment
    • 3 years’ Sales experience in a Home Loans environment / Estate Agent / Bond Originator 

    Requirements

    • NQF Level 5 or Higher in a Financial or Business-related field essential
    • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
    • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
