    Health Helper

    The successful candidate will be based within the DPHRU site in Soweto, Johannesburg.

    General Responsibilities:

    • Attend training required to implement the Bukhali programme.
    • Conduct telephonic and face-to-face sessions with Bukhali participants (young women in Soweto).

    Requirements:

    • Be female, and between the age of 25 – 40 years old.
    • Have finished matric, and have some post-matric training (e.g. certificate, diploma).
    • Must be willing to work in the Soweto community (and be able to travel to Soweto, if not resident in Soweto).
    • Must be willing to work Tuesday – Saturday.
    • Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience working with community-based programmes (health or health-related)
