Head, VAF Payments & Collections at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The Head of VAF Collections is responsible for pursuing bad debts and arrears of coercive revenue on behalf of the organisation.
• It is also responsible for the administration and management of “Loans Made” by the bank to its employees, third party organizations and other persons.
• To design and implement strategies for the recovery and rehabilitation of the maximum possible value of all product/assets which are related, whether directly or indirectly, to any debt owed to the bank where the repayment of that debt or any part thereof is in doubt (“distressed assets”).
• The job covers 3 main types of assets: immovable assets; tangible movable assets and intangible movable assets.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree Business Commerce
• Degree Business Commerce
• Post Graduate Diploma Finance and Accounting
• Credit or Risk Management Certificate

Experience Required

• 7-10 years
• Collections or Operations Environment
