    Head of Product Marketing: AMEAA

    Job Description About the role

    • The Head of PMM for AMEAA is a leadership role that is accountable for the delivery of all PMM jobs and outputs within the region, as measured by the delivery of £150m+ ARR and 10%+ annual growth. This role leads the virtual AMEAA PMM Squad to deliver these specific outcomes:
    • Deeply understand the needs of customers, the trends/dynamics in the market and competitors – and ensuring this is injected into Business Units so they build winning Strategies and Growth Plans.
    • Build, and regularly update, an AMEAA Growth Plan and Launch Calendar that defines the market opportunity, as well as timing and execution of the Growth Initiatives needed to achieve the regional Growth Targets.
    • Support the creation, regular updating/re-planning and execution of an achievable AMEAA Win Plan that meets or exceeds the Growth Targets.
    • Ensures that all AMEAA Growth Initiatives and PMM deliverables are properly planned, strongly executed and then refined post-execution to deliver the expected commercial results. And the jobs to be done/outputs produced follow the PMM Ways of Working.
    • Becomes the trusted PMM business partner to AMEAA Managing Director/Leadership Teams, acting as the single point of contact for all PMM and Business Unit deliverables for the Region, leads effective and efficient alignment; and proactively solving risks/issues.

    The Head of PMM for AMEAA delivers these outcomes through leadership of the virtual AMEAA PMM Squad across the BUs. They’re accountable for ensuring the squad has the right culture, resourcing, capabilities, objectives/goals and influence into their BUs to achieve the required outcomes for the AMEAA. They also ensure that all jobs to be done and outputs produced within the Region follow the PMM Ways of Working. And, as senior leaders within PMM, they are also accountable for providing local PMM leadership to colleagues based in their region with ongoing coaching, talent development and recruitment.

    Success in this role is measured by the achievement of Region ARR and Growth Targets, as well as the effectiveness of the relationships with both Region MDs/Leadership Teams and Business Units. To achieve this, the Head of PMM AMEAA requires strong leadership skills working within and across a matrix organisation, specifically the ability to lead a virtual team of PMM Professionals to drive winning outcomes. Of equal importance is the need for strong persuasion, negotiation and communication skills, which are all critical to developing effective and trusted relationships with Region Managing Directors/Leadership Teams and Heads of PMM for BUs.

    A key success factor will be establishing strong, trusted relationships with the MD and Senior Leadership Teams across the Regions; becoming integrated into these teams and developing the ability to robustly challenge on a peer to peer basis.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Region PMM Squad Leadership – accountable for leading the (virtual) AMEAA PMM Squad to deliver the required PMM jobs and outputs for the region. Responsible for co-setting objectives and goals, driving the squad to achieve daily/weekly/monthly outcomes for the region and supporting BU Leaders in the coaching and development of squad members.
    • Region Interlock - acts as the primary point of contact for AMEAA MDs and LT into central PMM, by owning and resolving risks/issues and ensuring that the Region insight/voice/needs successfully flows into PMM Business Units.
    • Region Growth Plans - ensuring that Business Unit (BU) Growth Plans and GoToMarket programmes are successfully translated into robust, ambitious and realistic AMEAA Growth Plan that achieve both BU and AMEAA growth targets.
    • Region Win Plans – supports the creation, regular updating/re-planning and execution of an achievable AMEAA Win Plan that meets/exceeds Growth Targets.
    • Region Launch Calendar – accountable for building and maintaining the Region Launch Calendar (in perfect alignment with each BUs) to become the single source of truth for what BUs (product, proposition, campaign launches) will deliver into the Region.
    • Region GTM Execution - leads the planning, execution and coordination of all GoToMarket activities (as outlined in BU and AMEAA Growth Plans) to ensure strong execution of plans, drive continuous improvement and manage opportunities/risks.
    • PMM Ways Of Working – ensures a simple, repeatable PMM Way of Working (the common framework - jobs to be done, outputs, processes, templates, goal setting) across every Business Unit within the Region, especially in the execution of all PMM jobs and outputs.
    • PMM Resourcing – accountable for the resourcing plan across PMM for the Region, working with and influencing BUs to ensure an effective and efficient balance of capability for the Region.
