JOB DESCRIPTION

To provide an end-to-end money management and advisory related data insights and analytics capability Personal and Private Banking South Africa (PPB SA).

• Own and manage money management data and modelling including Money Management (MM) client-level metrics.
• Explore, develop and integrate data assets across the Group to provide first-of-its-kind / 360 degrees view on client, in order to provide deep behavioural and financial understanding of clients
• Assist in developing, integrating & tracking key strategic Money Management and Advisory KPIs on business and client level
• Formulation and testing of use cases to test specific interventions across client segment continuum, to drive specific behaviour/engagement, etc.
• Seen as Money Management data SME providing deep behavioural and financial data understanding of clients.
• Generate internal and external insights for input to segment and product development and customer value propositions
• Easily translates business requests/objectives into data requirements, including for example building of models or pulling of specific data sets
• Provide data input on impact of proposed legislation and preparation of necessary business cases.
• Drive mindset change to promote financial wellness as a key driver across the business
• Collaborate with and leverage existing data capabilities across the business as relevant.
• Track Money Management initiatives across products, Operating Income, client behaviour, client engagement, channels, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

Type of Qualification: First Degree

Field of Study: Business Commerce, Analytical/Data Science

Experience Required

• 10 years Experience in a discovery, analytics and customer intelligence role within a financial institution. Experience in translating analytical outputs for business consumption
