    Head Department

    Requirements

    • A relevant B Degree in Facilities Management.
    • 8 years relevant experience.
    • Extensive experience in Project Management and Safety Management.
    • Code B Drivers Licence.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Manage key performance areas and indicators associated with the delivery of an effective centralized Facilities Management service.
    • Support the implementation and operationalization of the Immovable Property Asset Management Framework.
    • Assume responsibility for all Building, Electrical, and Mechanical Maintenance at facilities within their area of responsibility.
    • Oversee new builds and depot upgrades for the Water and Sanitation directorate.
    • Support management in the development and implementation of business plans, processes, and programs.
    • Manage customer and stakeholder relationships as they relate to Facilities Management and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) operations within the Department.
    • Manage and control the financial requirements of the Section.
    • Direct and control outcomes associated with the utilization, productivity, and performance of personnel within the Facilities and OHS Management Section.
    • Establish and manage a risk, compliance, and performance monitoring program within the Department.
    • Manage the key performance areas and result indicators associated with the formulation of Occupational Health, Safety and Risk, Environmental, and Quality Management Strategies, Policies, and Procedures
