Handyman - Tiler at Bidvest Facilities Management

ROLE PURPOSE

• The Handyman Tiler will be responsible for completing tile installation and repair projects. 

MAIN OUTPUTS

• Measure and cut tiles to fit specific spaces
• Prepare surfaces for tiling, including cleaning, leveling, and priming
• Install tiles using adhesive or grout
• Repair and replace damaged tiles
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on projects
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

The Applicant must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 (Technical Matric advantageous)
• Proven experience as a Handyman Tiler or similar role
• Strong knowledge of tiling techniques, tools, and materials
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Additional training or certification in tiling is a plus
