General Manager - Somerset West at Helderberg Personnel

• The main purpose of the General Manager is to oversee various administrative, security, staffing, financial, and client service functions within the estate. The role demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

The General Manager will report to the Trustees and duties will include the following:

• Administration
• Security Management
• Management and recruitment of staff
• Management of Public open spaces
• Financials
• Building Control and Management
• Financial Oversight
• Client Service
• General ad-hoc duties which may be assigned
• Liaison with statutory bodies including NHBRC, Sheriff of the Court, Medical Services, CSOS, SAPS, Local Town Council etc

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of team management experience in a similar industry.
• Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in management, administration, or a related field
• A good business acumen and a good understanding of financials are essential.
