    Fleet Coordinator - PepsiCo Park CDC Snacks

    Responsibilities

    What we’re looking for

    • We are looking for a Fleet Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The role is physically located in Germiston, Gauteng.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

    • To oversee all aspects of MHE’s, Commercial and Passenger vehicle management, including Uptime, safety, training and maintenance budget to ensure operational up time by implementing full maintenance program and preventative maintenance.
    • Work in teams /Perform administrative duties/ Ensure R&M and Tyres quotations are received & processed within 24 hours
    • Provide Fleet Management with weekly Fleet Expenditure reports to track maintenance budgets
    • Conduct Monthly DC Visit/provide feedback on previous issues/draw up action plans on current issues /Weekly DC KPI’s Meeting
    • Ensuring Fleet vehicles Roadworthy tests/MHE Load Test are done timeous and COF certificates are submitted to Fleet Admin 30 days before license/Load Test expiry
    • Manage short term rental requests ensuring rental reasons are justified to reduce costs and ensure business continuity.
    • Ensure Telematics/Drive Cam/Fuel Master units in the region are downloading and fully operational.
    • Ensure that all DC’s comply with accident policy with regards to vehicles that was involved in accidents.
    • Ensure timeous preventative maintenance/servicing of commercial/passenger vehicles/MHE’s for the relevant DCs by planning/bookings and ensuring DCs & suppliers adhere to appointments.
    • Track Driver Score Card Matrix and raise non-conformance with relevant DCM on corrective action in the form of Driver Trainings
    • Daily Monitoring of Pre & Post Trip Inspection/Fuel usage/kilometer usage/corrective action

    Qualifications

    • Understanding and knowledge of transport legislation.
    • Optimize fleet performance / Maintain safe, healthy and risk-free working environment
    • Understanding and knowledge of Material Handling Equipment
    • Computer literate in MS Office.
    • Strong report writing and analytical skills
