Qualifications    

• CA (SA)

Experience    

• A minimum of 12 - 15 years post qualification experience of which 3 – 5 years in an executive financial role
• Previous experience in strategic management and leadership operating across multiple geographies will be an advantage
• Previous experience in the chemical, agriculture, manufacturing and/or mining industry will be an advantage

Duties    

• Provide leadership and management to the financial department across all operational geographies
• Provide financial strategy recommendations to the executive team
• Identify and address potential financial risks for the company
• Oversee all financial decisions, such as budgeting, auditing and taxation
• Implement strategies and systems to improve financial performance
• Support financial department in developing short- and long-term financial goals
• Review financial reports and determine methods to reduce costs
• Serve as a key point of contact for financial department and auditors
• Assist in the formation of the Divisional Strategy as well as the Implementation
• Good working knowledge of IFRS, the JSE rules and listings and King IV
• Drive system and process improvement projects
• Regulatory and Compliance Management
