    Finance Manager - Parktown

    Work Description

    The Finance Manager is responsible for all aspects of financial management, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as funder requirements.  The Financial Manager works in close collaboration with the Managing Director to manage the financial sustainability of the Global Fund NDOH Grant.  S/he oversees the day-to-day work of the Global Fund Finances and is responsible for the effective management of the Global Fund Finance Team. S/he also needs to work in close collaboration with the NDOH Finance Team and ensure effective stakeholder management.

    • Facilitation/ Advise on Corporate Governance
    • Asset Management
    • Savings
    • Cash flow Management

    Requirements

    Education

    • Financial related degree with professional qualification, CA, CIMA etc (NQF Level 7)

    Advantageous

    • Business Degree/Diploma

    Experience

    • Minimum of five years’ experience in a financial environment with at least two at management level
    • Experience with Global Fund/NDOH Funding.
    • Experience with NGO Health Sector Funding.
    • Experience in dealing with National Department of Health/National Treasury
    • Experience in dealing with AGSA Audits
    • Experience with MS D365 ERP as well as SAGE financial systems

    Requirements

    • SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
    • Advanced computer skills
    • Driver’s licence
    • Own car
    • Willing to work overtime
