FA Administrator Rotables - Middelburg at Samancor Chrome

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To assist in all Stores Rotables responsibilities and other warehousing activities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT, RISK, QUALITY AND COMMUNITY

• Participate and comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
• Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
• Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation, and implement control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.)
• Ensure the OHSA and environmental standards are maintained
• Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status
• Adhere to all related SOP’s, PTO’s, and CTO’s as per Training Matrix per position, SHEQ and company standards
• Comply to the 5S requirements and manage your area of responsibility

CUSTOMERS

• Ensure Internal Customer Satisfaction

BUSINESS PROCESSES

• Comply to the 5S requirements and manage your area of responsibility
• Assist in the control of the Rotables and Materials Management process of receiving, verification, binning and issuing
• Assist and arrange the return of incorrect/damaged goods to suppliers and process the   necessary documentation and transactions on the ChromeSAP system
• Assist in the preparation and adjudication of tenders
• Assist with the expediting of Rotables and materials purchase orders
• Participate in cycle counts
• Investigate and close out inventory discrepancies
• Investigate material queries
• Assist with day to day & Rotable activities
• Reconcile outstanding/overdue items
• Assist with the issuing of waybills

Customer Relations:

• Investigate queries from internal/external customers and provide feedback.
• Maintain processes where end-users are involved.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12/ N3 or N3 that is equivalent to a Grade 12/ Matric (4x Technical subjects or 4x Business subjects and 2x Language subjects)
• 1-year relevant technical certificate
• 5 years’ relevant experience gained in a heavy industrial environment
• Computer Literacy (MS Office)

ADVANTAGEOUS

• SAP Experience (Material Management Module)
• Studying towards relevant qualification
• Valid Forkilift License
• Rigging qualification
