    Minimum Qualification

    • A least an Honours Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent.

    Minimum years relevant experience

    • At least 10 years senior management experience in HR.

     Job Description

    • Executive Manager: Corporate Services is responsible for providing executive management and leadership in the provision of corporate services for operational and strategic human capital management, information and technology management, legal services, and administration & facilities management.

    Key Areas of Responsibility
    The ideal candidate will perform the following job activities:

    • Leadership oversight through active participation at EXCO and MANCO;
    • Participation at Board/Board Committee meetings;
    • Set strategic direction for Corporate Services Division & lead and manage the execution of plans;
    • Provide leadership on applicable Annual Performance Plan (APP) deliverables / projects;
    • Contribute to Corporate strategic planning;
    • Development and implementation of Divisional Integrated Operational Plan (IOP);
    • Management of Divisional finances, human resources, and governance, risk and compliance;
    • Stakeholder engagement and networking;
    • Ensure development and implementation of the Institute’s human capital strategic plan;
    • Ensure development and implementation of institutional HR policies, processes and systems;
    • Ensure efficient provision of HR transactional services;
    • Ensure coordination of workforce planning;
    • Provide advice and guidance on HR practices and interpretation of policies and HR related legislation;
    • Ensure NRWDI compliance with labour legislation;
    • Ensure development and implementation of the Institute’s IT strategy;
    • Ensure development and implementation of IT Charter, Policy, IT Governance Framework, and specific IT policies and procedures;
    • Ensure development and implementation of IT solutions to support the achievement of organizational goals;
    • Ensure development and implementation of integrated IT business systems to support enterprise transactional processing;
    • Ensure legal advisory and interpretation services to Management and Board on various aspects on existing laws and regulatory requirements;
    • Ensure effective and efficient legal services provisioning;
    • Ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action are taken;
    • Ensure effective legal representation when required;
    • Ensure legal protection and legal risk management advice to management, especially on procurement and contracts management;
    • Ensure effective and efficient Head Office general administration and facilities management.

    • Knowledge of financial management prescripts within the public sector (PFMA knowledge required);
    • Knowledge and/or application of strategic and business planning methodologies;
    • Good knowledge of HR, IT, Legal, and Administration & Facilities management in order to effectively manage functional managers;
    • Sound knowledge of HR legislation and IT frameworks;
    • Employee/ labour relations management;
      Talent management;
      Risk management (how to identify and control risks that fall within the realm of corporate services functions);
    • Working knowledge of policies and legal frameworks related to nuclear waste disposal and management.
