• Admission of patients
• Discharge of Patients
• Transferring of Patients
• Correct record keeping
• Operate within scope of practice
• Identification of Patients
• Professional role model
• Ordering of medication and stationary
• Routes: intramuscular, intravenous, oral
• Assist Professional Nurse with scheduled medicine
• Intake output
• Nourishing fluids
• Inserting IV line (Direct Supervision)
• Implementing diet plan for patients
• Feeding of patients
• Maintenance Personal Hygiene
• Taking and interpretation of vital signs
• Specific observations – traction, wound draining
• Aseptic technique dressings
• Suturing direct Supervision
• Observation and Recording

Qualifications:

• Grade 12
• Enrolled Nurse Certificate
