Job Description

• To design, code, verify, test, document, amend and refactor programs/scripts. Applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. To monitor and report on own progress and proactively identify issues related to software development activities. To propose practical solutions to resolve issues. To collaborate in reviews of work with others as appropriate.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Information Studies or Information Technology
• 3-5+ years of PL/SQL experience
• Minimum 4 years experience designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and highly pressured environment
• Hadoop (Sqoop, Hive, HBase, HDFS, etc) experience and Basic Unix skills would be beneficial
