    Electronic Data Integration Analyst

    The main responsibilities of this job are:

    • Collaborate with internal and external customers to design, develop, and implement EDI integrations and automate business processes.
    • Onboard new customers and business partners onto existing integration flows and processes
    • Communicate with internal and externals customers and business partners to resolve issues and maintain smooth operation of integration processes.
    • Oversee daily monitoring of EDI systems and respond to various exception-based notifications and alerts generated by integration platforms and applications
    • Develop data mappings from custom and standards-based EDI and XML message formats to application specific API, database, and file-based data structures
    • Document specific integration processes as they’re developed, adjusted, or improved
    • Learn a variety of software applications, systems, standards, and technologies as required to develop solutions and support integration operations.
    • Establishing B2B connections with internal and external trading partners using a variety of open and proprietary communication protocols
    • Provide systems analysis and technical support to business stakeholders.

    The ideal candidate should have:

    • 4 Year Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or Information Management
    • 5-8 years of work experience within the Information Technology environment.
    • No prior EDI experience is necessary, and training will be provided.

    Basic level of experience

    • Some understanding of data structures, standards, and formats such as X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, and/or CSV
    • Some knowledge of SQL and relational databases
    • Basic knowledge of HTTP, FTP, SSH, and other transport protocols
    • Demonstrated technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Able to work well with people from many different backgrounds and cultures

    Preferred level of experience

    • Experience using mapping and translation tools such as SAP PI, Sterling Integrator, MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar EDI, ETL and ESB platforms
    • Experience setting up secure data exchange using S/MIME, HTTPS, SFTP, REST and SOAP Web Services and EDI AS2
    • Experience with JMS, ApacheMQ, RabbitMQ or other message brokers
    • Experience working in Unix shell, Windows PowerShell, or other scripting language
    • Experience using JavaScript, Java, or other programming language

    We offer flexible scheduling and remote work options. Candidate must be able to provide support during North America business hours and be available for infrequent after hours support as needed. The EDI Analyst must be proactive, detail oriented, enjoy problem solving, and comfortable interacting with teams and individuals with diverse backgrounds, nationalities, priorities, and interests.
