Job Description

The responsibilities of the Electrician will include:

• Maintenance of electrical components of machinery and equipment
• Conducting safety meetings and participating in risk assessments
• Attending to breakdowns and emergencies
• Escalating defects and abnormalities to management
• Ensuring adequate training and coaching is provided to subordinates
• Oversee Engineering Learners and Artisans and ensuring effective teamwork

This role is in the Engineering Department and is at a C2 level reporting to the Engineering Foreman.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science Or N2 Technical Specific
• Section 13 or 26D Electrician Trade Certificate
• MV Certificate
• Basic Computer Literacy
• Valid Driver’s license- Code 08
• Must be medically fit
