    DSC _ Customer Service Liaison

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Daily Compile & Distribute Re-Delivery Report                                                                                                                                      
    • Daily Communicate & Change Expected Delivery Dates                                                                                                                    
    • Daily Log & Communicate all delivery delays to all Customers / Principals                                                                                      
    • Daily Log & Communicate all returns to all Principals & log authorisation numbers                                                          
    • Communicate all related incidents, including Hijack or Accidents to all parties & log all details, request orders to be reinstated and arrange alternative delivery day with Customer      
    • Log & communicate special, add on, collections requests with Operations & feedback to Principals                              
    • Compile weekly reports for Management                                                                                                                               
    • Identify problem areas, and liaise with management                                                                                                                         
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure Client & Customer needs are dealt with and Customer Service Levels are maintained within the agreed SLA's 
    • Work is task driven, person must be prepared to complete tasks before taking any breaks (lunch, tea)      

    Qualifications, Experience & Attributes:

    • Matric
    • 2/3 years warehousing/logistics experience
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
    • Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions
    • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Self-starter
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Excellent typing skills
    • Good Problem solving & follow through ability
