DJI Drone Agri Business Development Manager - Bloemfontein at Rectron South Africa

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research & Analysis:

• Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities for DJI drones in South African agriculture.
• Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies.

Business Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy focused on expanding the use of DJI drones in agriculture.
• Identify and prioritize target markets and customer segments.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, agricultural cooperatives, and government agencies.
• Conduct regular meetings with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

• Drive sales growth by promoting DJI drone solutions to the agricultural sector.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.

Representation & Promotion:

• Represent the company at trade expos, industry events, and live demonstrations.
• Organize and participate in promotional activities to showcase DJI drone technology and its benefits for agriculture.

Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work closely with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
• Coordinate with DJI’s global team to stay updated on the latest drone technologies and applications.

Training & Support:

• Provide training and support to clients on the use of DJI drones for agricultural purposes.
• Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate clients on best practices.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market feedback.
• Prepare regular reports on business development activities and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Matric
• University degree with either a business or information technology background advantageous

Experience:

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the agricultural or technology sector.
• Experience with drone technology and its applications in agriculture is a plus.
