Job Description

Required outputs: Functional

• Proficient with database processes and usage
• Meticulous execution of warehouse department procedures
• Ensuring adherence to FEFO principle (First expired, First Out)
• Monitoring/verifying physical stock movement with relevant documentation with compliance to product storage conditions and timeous customer deliveries
• Supporting the various aspects of logistics, inventory management and distribution within the warehouse
• Implement proper inventory control measures to minimize loss and damage when failures are raised
• Update procedures when changes to processes are implemented
• Updating and reporting on monthly expiring stock and executing on action plans
• Daily master data monitoring and maintenance on SAP B1
• Supporting management with subcontracting management
• Compliance to document traceability
• Conduct daily Cycle Counts
• Take part in quarterly wall to wall counts
• Support management with training function
• Close out audit findings
• Compliance to export regulation
• Supporting all functions with timeous closeout of all warehouse queries (finance, Quality etc.)
• Stand in for other warehouse administrative functions as needed
• Consignment stock management

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience in a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of SHE principles
• Understanding and knowledge of MS Office and full computer literate
• Previous experience with SAP
• Motor vehicle licence will be an added advantage
