Dispatch Assistant at Kontak Recruitment

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in logistics or supply chain management
• Minimum of 2 years experience within a warehouse, logistics, or dispatch environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with dispatch software/systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and organizing dispatch documentation, including picklists.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and other departments to ensure goods are dispatched on time.
• Track shipments and maintain accurate status records.
• Liaise with clients and transport companies to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any dispatch-related issues.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all dispatched goods, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly.
• Support daily dispatch operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Handle any ad hoc administrative tasks related to dispatch operations.
