    Digital Designer (Milnerton/Century City)

    Description
    Role overview:

    • The Digital Designer will work closely with the lead designer and acquisition teams with accountability for the development and execution of digital creative campaigns across different platforms and campaign types, working across 2 brands. The role will be asked to deliver high levels of creativity and deep understanding of digital and channel best practice. 

    Key competencies and areas of responsibility:

    • Concept and execution of paid digital media campaigns aligned to brief and platform best practice
    • Develop and execute consideration and conversion campaigns
    • Aligned to brand CI’s and audiences
    • Roll out concepts into different formats, as per chase list
    • Work across platforms including Google, Meta, Bing and other platforms
    • Formats will include video, static and other
    • Concept and execution off brand engagement campaigns aligned to brief and platform best practice
    • Develop and execute Organic and paid for social media content driving brand engagement, education
    • Aligned to brand CI’s and audiences
    • Roll out concepts into different formats, as per chase list
    • Formats will include video, static and other
    • Strong implementation focus
    • Exceptional time and project management skills, with the attitude and expertise to juggle multiple deliverables within a fast paced environment across 2 brands
    • Organized with high attention to detail
    • Proactively stay on top of digital trends per campaign type and share these with the business
    • Cross functional engagement
    • The role works across teams, and the individual needs to have strong communication skills to engage with different teams
    • Measures of success include:
    • Consideration and conversion brand, products and deals
    • Support the Brand and Acquisition pillars

    Requirements
    Qualifications and experience:

    • Degree or Diploma in graphic design, visual arts or related design competencies
    • 4 years+ design experience, with a strong portfolio of work showcasing design expertise across digital media platforms including Google, Meta, Bing, X and other social media platforms
    • Demonstrate a thorough and complete understanding of digital best practice by campaign type and platform
    • Static, video and animation design experience, showcased by a portfolio of work
    • Experience within either an inhouse or agency team, using tools such as Trello or Asana to manage delivery
    • Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, XD, Photoshop, Indesign, After Effects, Media Encoder, Dreamweaver, Figma or other graphic design tools
