Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop systems and applications.
• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and offer timely resolutions.
• Assist the IT team with the implementation of software updates, patches, and security protocols.
• Assist in the management of IT inventory and assets.
• Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects, contributing fresh ideas and innovative solutions.
• Help maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures.

• No experience necessary.

Ideal Qualifications    

• A 60% average for Matric/Grade 12 is essential. Our ideal incumbent would also have successfully completed Computer Applications Technology and Core Mathematics at a Matric/Grade 12 level.
• A completed degree or diploma in Information Technology / Computer Science or related field would be an advantage.
• Any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) is a plus.
